Aspaya is run by us, Wipavee and Adam — a couple who live in Chiang Mai and look after our two homes ourselves. We started Aspaya because we wanted somewhere that felt warm and personal, not like another anonymous rental.
We fell for Chiang Mai the way most people do — slowly, and then all at once. The temples and the mountains, yes, but really it was the pace of life: morning coffee that takes its time, markets that have run for generations, and a kind of easy warmth that makes a big city feel like a village.
When we created Aspaya, we wanted to share that feeling. So we designed two homes we’d genuinely want to stay in — calm, comfortable and properly equipped — right in the heart of the Old City. Then we built everything around them that we always wished a host would offer: a free pickup so you don’t land to a taxi queue, honest local guides, and someone who actually picks up the phone.
We’re a small operation, and that’s the point. When you stay with us, you’re hosted by the people who own the place and live down the road — not a call centre. We’d love to welcome you.
