Free airport pickup and drop-off
We collect you from the airport and bring you to your door — free, both ways. We travel in a red songthaew, Chiang Mai’s classic open-air taxi. It’s not air-conditioned, but it’s a fun, local way to arrive.
A free pickup from Chiang Mai International Airport (CNX) comes with every stay at both homes — no booking fees, no taxi queue, no haggling. We come and get you ourselves.
We drive a songthaew — the red truck taxi you’ll see all over Chiang Mai. It’s open-air at the back and not air-conditioned, but it’s clean, safe and part of the fun. The ride into the Old City takes about 10 to 15 minutes.
How it works

Send us your flight details
When your stay is booked, send us your flight number and arrival time. We track your flight, so an early or late landing is no problem.

Meet us at arrivals
Look for your name on a sign in the arrivals hall. Chiang Mai’s airport is small, so you’ll find us in moments.

Ride to your door
Hop in our red songthaew for the short ride into the Old City — about 10 to 15 minutes. We’ll show you around and help you settle in.
And when it’s time to leave
Your drop-off is free too. When your trip ends, we take you back to the airport in good time for your flight — just tell us when you need to go.
Staying at a hotel first?
Many guests spend a night or two elsewhere before checking in. If your hotel is in the city centre, we can pick you up there for free as well. Hotels outside the centre are chargeable — just ask and we’ll give you a fair price.
Common questions
Is it really free?
Yes. A free pickup and a free drop-off come with every stay at both Aspaya House and Aspaya Family. There’s nothing extra to pay.
What kind of vehicle is it?
We use a songthaew — Chiang Mai’s classic red truck taxi. It’s open-air at the back and not air-conditioned, but it’s clean, safe and a fun, local way to arrive. Most rides are only 10 to 15 minutes.
Can you pick me up from my hotel too?
Yes. If you’re staying at a hotel in the city centre first, we can pick you up there for free as well. Hotels outside the city centre are chargeable — just ask and we’ll give you a price.
What if my flight is delayed?
No problem. We track your flight, so we adjust to your real landing time. Early or late, we’ll be there.
What if I arrive late at night?
Late arrivals are fine — many flights into Chiang Mai land in the evening. Just send your details in advance and we’ll be ready, however late it is.
How many guests and bags can you take?
A songthaew has plenty of room — it fits the whole group with luggage, even for Aspaya Family’s eight guests. Travelling with a pushchair or a car seat? Let us know in advance.
